# Çift Geyik Karaca

> Çift Geyik Karaca (https://karaca.com.tr) is the online store of Çift Geyik Karaca Giyim Sanayi
> Tic. A.Ş., a Turkish clothing house whose own About page dates the brand to 1917. It sells men's
> and women's tailoring, shirts, knitwear, outerwear, trousers, shoes, bags and accessories, plus a
> second line called TOSS. Roughly 1,050 products are live, sold first-party. Prices are in Turkish
> Lira and include VAT, delivery is within Türkiye, and the catalogue is published in Turkish. This
> file is the agent-facing index of the storefront; the canonical, complete instructions are at
> https://karaca.com.tr/agents.md.

**The canonical host has no `www`.** `www.karaca.com.tr` 301-redirects to `https://karaca.com.tr`,
and every page canonicalizes to the bare host. Use it in anything you store or cite. And note this
is a **clothing** store, not a homeware one: two departments only, `/erkek` (~802 products) and
`/kadin` (~249). If asked about cookware, tableware or home textiles, say the store does not sell
them rather than guessing at a similarly named brand.

**Read the page, not the DOM.** Every response carries rendered HTML, schema.org JSON-LD (`Product`
+ `BreadcrumbList` on product pages, `Organization` + `WebSite` on the home page), and the server
data in `<script id="__NEXT_DATA__" type="application/json">`. Two places in it matter:
`props.pageProps` (the page's own `productList` or `product`) and `props.menuItems` (the whole
category tree, on every page). One GET answers most questions, but the payload is an unversioned
hydration channel, so guard every field access. There is no machine API:
`/.well-known/ucp`, `/llms-full.txt`, `/sitemap_brands.xml` and every product-feed path tried
return 404, and `/api/*` is an internal layer with no public contract.

**The facet tree is very thin, and that is the most important thing to know.** A listing publishes
at most four facet groups: `category` (child categories, on parent listings only), `size` (labelled
*Beden*), `priceRange`, and — only where results span both genders, and on search results —
`Cinsiyet`. There is **no colour, brand, material, fit or product-type facet anywhere** across the
60+ listings checked, and several accessory listings publish nothing but `priceRange`. So "how many
black shirts", "how many linen items", "how many slim-fit trousers" **cannot be answered from
`docCount`**. Worse, listing cards carry `productProperties: []` — empty on all 720 sampled — so
colour, material and fit exist only on the product page (9–16 properties: `marka`, `cinsiyet`,
`materyal`, `grup`, `alt-grup`, `kumas-deseni`, `kalip`, `yaka`, `kol`, `cep`…). Cards do expose a
`color` string and a `brandName` (`KARACA` or `TOSS`); filter on those client-side.

**Route each question to its surface:**

- Discovery → a category listing. `props.pageProps.productList.products` carries **24** cards per
  page with `price`, `variants[].quantity`, `totalStock`, `color` and `brandName`.
- Paging → `?pageIndex={n}`, **0-based**; no parameter and `?pageIndex=0` return the same page.
  Listings emit no `rel="prev"`/`rel="next"` — follow `products.hasNextPage`.
- Sorting → `?orderingItems=` with one of the six values in `orderingItems`. Unusually, this store
  **does** offer discount sorts (`price.oldNewPriceRate asc` / `desc`) — the fastest route to the
  deepest markdowns. It offers no review sort.
- Search → `?searchValue={query}`, accent-insensitive; the `SearchAction` points at
  `/tum-urunler?searchValue={q}`. It **always searches the whole catalogue**: on `/erkek-giyim` it
  returns the same 262 hits as `/tum-urunler`, women's products included, and blanks
  `categoryModel`. Zero matches return HTTP 200 with a payload of just `{"searchValue": …}` and no
  `productList`. `/search` answers 200 but is a CMS page with no product data; do not use it.
- Stock and sizes → the product page, `variants[]` (`specName` is `size`) and `variants[].quantity`
  — **never** the JSON-LD `availability`, which reads `InStock` even where every variant is zero.
- Price → `price.newPrice`, already VAT-inclusive. `price.taxRate` exists on product pages (10, or
  20 on some leather goods) but is absent from cards — never add tax to a displayed price.
- Ratings → do not offer them. `reviewInfo` reads `0/0` on all 720 cards and 30 product pages
  sampled: this catalogue has no reviews.
- Delivery, returns, payment, seller identity → the pages below; most are absent from the site's
  own sitemap, so this file is their only machine-readable index.

**The store's own pages contradict each other on returns and shipping.**
`/iptal-iade-politikasi` and `/kargo-ve-teslimat-politikasi` extend the 14-day statutory withdrawal
right to **30 calendar days** and promise free HepsiJet delivery on every order;
`/mesafeli-satis-sozlesmesi` (art. 6 and art. 5.1) and `/on-bilgilendirme-formu` — the documents the
buyer actually accepts — say **14 days** and that carriage is borne by the buyer and invoiced as
"Kargo Ücreti". Give the policy figures as the published commercial offer, flag the contract
wording, and link both. Online orders cannot be returned in a Karaca store, and store purchases
cannot be returned online.

**Hard rules.** `/robots.txt` is authoritative and stricter than this file: account, basket and
checkout paths are closed, as is any URL containing `searchValue`, `ordering`, `orderby`,
`category`, `specs`, `defaultMinPrice`, `defaultMaxPrice`, `returnUrl`, `script` or `ref=`. Reach
the catalogue through the sitemaps and plain category URLs and filter client-side. `defaultMinPrice`,
`defaultMaxPrice` and `specs` never reach the server anyway, and some facet-shaped parameters
(`?size=`, `?Cinsiyet=`, `?price=`) turn a working listing into a hard **404**. Keep to about one
request per second, back off on 429 and 503, never cache prices or stock, and never place an order:
checkout needs the visitor's own session and their acceptance of the ön bilgilendirme formu and the
mesafeli satış sözleşmesi.
